My room - The Trafalgar - was wonderfully decorated in Regency style. It was also relatively large, comfortable, and clean. They have a system whereby you write down on a form they give you what & how many you need of a particular room item (toilet paper, towels, coffee, etc.). You drop that off in a little basket at the front desk and - voila! - your request soon appears. The meals at their restaurant were very good - B+/A-, but perhaps lacking that final touch to make them truly excellent. Breakfasts were complimentary and very satisfactory. The location? Good & bad. Good in that you are 500 yards away, if that, from the dramatic Upper Falls, which you can get very close to. Bad, in that many of the best attractions & views of the Horseshoe Falls will require you to cross to the Canadian side. That's not a terribly big deal if you have your own car. But if you don't, you'll probably end up having to hire a car to take you over. Please note: many of the popular Viator tours leave from the Canadian side, and they don't pick up customers on the American side. Instead, you meet them at the Skylon Tower. All things to consider in choosing a place to stay. Note: Bring your passport. You will need it.

The Red Coach Inn is a unique and very pleasant place to stay In Niagara Falls. The Location is excellent, the closest place to stay to the Niagara Falls state park – right across the street, no need to drive in. It is also within a few minute walk along the river to get to Rainbow bridge for beautiful views of the Falls & Fireworks. The Red Coach Inn looks like it has been transported from England in it’s Tudor style which is extremely elegant. The Restaurant is one of the best in the area. With inside seating, enclosed patio seating and open air (with cover) seating. The staff was very welcoming and the rooms were very comfortable too. Two tips for future guests: Make reservation if you decide to eat at the Red Coach Restaurant for dinner and ask if you can request a specific table. We enjoyed our stay on the 2nd floor room, but if you have mobility issues make sure to only book rooms on the 1st floor.

I enjoyed the historic look and feel of the Red Coach Inn. The amazing thing was the room my wife and I stayed in was perfectly balanced and equipped with all modern conveniences of a luxury hotel and some well placed antique furniture. The bed was extremely comfortable. Free excellent breakfast. The AC was perfect and quite. The bathroom with full walk in shower and a jacuzzi tub was everything you would want. The view was great. The TV was big enough. Coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. All great. Ironing board. And the location for Niagara Falls. Perfect. Very close to State Park and Goat Island. Two thumbs up!!! BTW - felt safe the whole time.

The privacy of our room was great and the location to the falls was the best in town. The city of Niagara seems dirty and run down but the location of the Red Coach kept that scenery behind us, only having to see the town if we walked in the opposite direction from the falls. We had wonderful access to the falls and Island since the Red Coach is centrally located a short distance to many of the Falls access points. We could see the Niagra river from our rooms window. The facilities were private and not set up like a traditional Hotel, which we actually enjoyed. This will be our go-to spot for any future trips.

Lovely, comfortable room. Roomy kitchen area with nice sized fridge. Comfy bed and sitting space. The spa tub was awesome! We ate in the wonderful restaurant twice for breakfast (beautiful complimentary meal- our best ever!) and for a dinner. Many yummy food choices and they were able to accommodate my food sensitivities! And the staff was attentive and very friendly. And the location is stellar. Seeing and hearing the roaring waters as you exit the front was awesome. Oh, and loved our own private entrance from the parking lot. We heard not another soul!
